Ok, I've found a workaround. I'm using teh software Advanced Find and Replace and I do this :

Text to find :
Quote:
// $Id:

Replace by :
Quote:
// $Id:

// $XOOPSId:

Cheers !

Hi !

I have a little challenge and I need your help ! Here is the situation :

I would like to use a CVS to host the code of some projects based on XOOPS, like, for example, XOOPS Multilanguages. 99 % of this projects files are original XOOPS files that I have modified more or less. If I commit these files in a CVS, I loose the $Id line at the top of all files because they will be changed by my version number. However, I need the original XOOPS file number in order to efficiently update those files when a new XOOPS version gets out.

How can I do that ?

Thans for any help !
