SVN or CVS access

Hi,

I added a module project "Goober Widget" some time ago (Goobe Widget). I wanted to commit some source to either a CVS or SVN repository, but I did not succeed in fetching the needed information.

I asked in the forums (SVN access?), but noticed today that I posted my message to the Archives, so I assume nobody of relevance read my post. ;)

I'd like to have write access to a SVN repository so to commit my source. What do I have to do to get this?

I do already know that the SVN repository is located at https://xoops.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/xoops, but I could find no information provided telling me how to get write access, where to locate my sources etc.

I'm not even sure that the SVN repository is used for development. It might as well only be used for file releases, while the actual development is performed in a CVS system. Is that so? If it is, how do I get access to a CVS server, including write access?

Thanks for any help!
Thomas

To those who accidently or at will coming here. Give me some helping hand. I need your feedback in order to fix the nasty bugs on the xoopsforge scripts. Right now no feature requests, but plain bug reporting.

Just answer to this post. Bugs will be fixed as time permits so do not expect any wonders.

Every module that starts with xf fall into my responsibility.

Thanks for your support.

Hello,

Nice to see this site back and with an updated look. I have found an issue with the admin pages for our project though...when we try to "Edit Public Info" we just get a regular looking page, except the central body section is blank. And the homepage for Formulize is also blank (that's why I want to edit the public info, to fix that).

So...can anyone shed some light on this? Can an admin flip some switch somewhere and fix this?

Thanks,

--Julian

Hi,

I submitted a project request before christmas and did not get any information per email that my request was approved and the project created. So I did wait some weeks (until today) before asking if my request has gone awry. I accidentally saw that the project was created (because it was in the New Projects list yet).

I wonder, if it was possible to send a confirmation email when

1. the request was sent in
2. the request was approved.

Otherwise, the applicant may be in wonder whether his request was unsuccessful and he is forced to look again and again until his project appears under the New Projects.

Only a suggestion... ;)

Hello,

I have massive problems when navigating dev.xoops.org. For instance, I was trying to find a way to the forums. I thought "Ok, then let's click on 'Forums' on the left side under 'Main Menu'". But doing this only brings me to http://dev.xoops.org/modules/forum/, which appears to be rather useless, since there are only some excerpts of various forums and, even worde, most entries are access restricted.

There definitely should be a main menu link leading to http://dev.xoops.org/modules/newbb/, which is the only way to gain any general view on the forums. Otherwise, it is very hard to find any entry point when trying to write a message. It took 5 minutes to find my way before I could click on "New Message" in the right forum. ;)

Thomas

BTW: why are there two empty categories "Category 1" and "Category 4"?
